EU to Provide €35 Billion in Assistance to Ukraine in 2025
In 2025, Ukraine will receive €35 billion in financial assistance from the European Union under the G7 ERA initiative and the Ukraine Facility programme. This was announced on the social network X by Vice-President of the European Commission, European Commissioner for Trade Valdis Dombrovskis.
‘The EU is delivering financial support through the G7 ERA loan initiative and the Ukraine Facility, with €35bn for 2025,’ Dombrovskis wrote.
He also said that during his meeting with First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko in Davos, they discussed steps to expand cooperation and integrate Ukraine into the EU's Single Market.
In 2024, the European Union became the largest donor to Ukraine, providing $17.3 billion under the Ukraine Facility.
