NATO Military Chiefs to Meet on Wednesday to Discuss War in Ukraine

Military leaders of the North Atlantic Alliance are to meet on Wednesday to discuss the situation in Ukraine and further actions.

According to two sources in the US and NATO, the Alliance meeting at the level of chiefs of general staff will be held online.
It is expected that NATO Commander in Europe Alexus Grinkevich will brief member states on the results of last week's meeting between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin in Alaska.
On the American side, the chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Dan Keane, is expected to participate, one of the Reuters sources added.
On 15 August, US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin held their first talks in the US state of Alaska.
After that, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and other European leaders met with Trump at the White House to discuss ways to diplomatically end Russian aggression.
