Prowling Robot: Tesla gave an update on its humanoid robot Tesla Bot

Tesla CEO Elon Musk during yesterday's shareholders meeting presented an updated version of the humanoid robot Tesla Bot. This is reported on the Company's YouTube channel.
Since its debut last year, the robot has made significant progress. Now he can walk and move very slowly, pick up objects and sort them.
The video highlights some specific updates to the Tesla Bot project, including motor torque control, environment discovery and memorization, AI (artificial intelligence) training from human-tracked movements, and manipulating objects.
One Tesla Bot was shown picking up objects from one container and putting them in a second container, which was also demonstrated as an example of training the bot’s AI from a human demonstration.
Now after seven months, it looks like Tesla’s bot is on its way to becoming a mass product.
The company will presumably begin production on Tesla Bot after the company delivers its first long-awaited Cybertrucks.
After more than three years since its initial announcement, Cybertruck production is expected to start this summer. Though Elon Musk has said that volume production won’t begin until next year. Tesla will have the first delivery event for its long-delayed Cybertruck in the third quarter of 2023.
"It takes time to get the manufacturing line going, and this is really a very radical product," Musk said.
Asked for updated specs, such as range or unique features, Musk declined to answer, noting that those details would be revealed during the hand-off event.
"I am confident of saying is that it’s an incredible product. It’s a Hall of Fame," Musk said.
Recall that Tesla's Bot, designed as a humanoid robot, was originally revealed last year at the company’s AI Day ("Artificial Intelligence Day"). At the time, Tesla could only show a deconstructed version of the bot that robot could barely walk forward, let alone perform any manual labor on stage. A version that was supposed to be closer to a production model was shown but was held up by a stand and could only wave to the audience.
Now, Tesla is showing robots more like that model but moving around independently, if a bit slowly.
