Trump's Special Envoy Arrives in Ukraine: 'My Mission is to Listen'
US Special Representative for Ukraine Keith Kellogg arrived in Kyiv on Wednesday, US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink, who met Kellogg at the railway station, said about this on social media platform X.
Commenting on his visit to Kyiv, Kellogg said that ‘this is a chance to have good potential negotiations,’ Suspilne TV reported.
‘We will listen. We are ready to provide what is needed. We understand the need for security guarantees. Part of my mission is to listen. Then I will return to the US and talk to President Trump. To make sure that we understand everything correctly,’ Kellogg said.
Trump's special envoy added that he understands that people are suffering and there is destruction. ‘And we want it to end,’ Kellogg said.
Kellogg will be in Ukraine for a two-day visit. According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Kellogg will meet with him and with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyy.
