War with Russia Must not End with Ukraine's Capitulation
Statement of German Defence Minister
The Gaze reports on it according to the European Truth.
Against the backdrop of intensified peace talks, the German Defence Minister Pistorius stated that there should be no peace in the Russian-Ukrainian war at the expense of capitulation.
Pistorius warned against forcing Ukraine to make ‘unilateral territorial concessions’ during the current negotiations.
He stressed that the country must be able to defend itself in the future.
Pistorius therefore stressed that this requires strong armed forces and reliable security guarantees, especially from the United States. In addition, he said, nothing that affects the future of European states, NATO or the EU should be ‘discussed or decided over our heads.’
In other words, we decide our own future. And there should be no false peace for Ukraine. There should be no peace that means surrender,’ Pistorius said.
