BREAKING! Ukrainians Interrogate Chinese Prisoners of War
Investigators from the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) conducted the first interrogations of prisoners of war from the People's Republic of China, who were captured by the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Donetsk region. Currently, they are providing testimony about how they ended up in the war in Ukraine and what tasks they were performing as part of the Russian armed forces on the territory of our state.
This pertains to two Chinese nationals: one was captured by soldiers of the 2nd Mechanized Battalion of the 157th Separate Mechanized Brigade near the settlement of Tarasivka, while the other was taken by servicemen of the 1st Mechanized Battalion of the aput81st Separate Airmobile Brigade near Bilohorivka.
The captured foreigners have no combat injuries but are receiving the necessary medical assistance as stipulated by the Geneva Convention.
For the initial investigative actions, they were transported to Kyiv. They are being held in proper conditions that comply with the requirements of international law.
