The age limit for being in the mobilization reserve has been increased in Russia by five years. From now on, the maximum age is 65 years old for senior officers, 60 for junior officers, and 55 for privates and warrant officers. Besides that, men can now be drafted into the Russian army for compulsory service until they are 30 years old, which is 3 years more than before Putin signed this new law on July 24th. All this will allow the Kremlin to send as many people as possible to the war against Ukraine, experts believe.
