The EU countries have approved a law that limits the permissible level of methane emissions during the export of gas and oil. Only Hungary voted against, writes Reuters. The restrictions will come into force in 2030. According to the law, EU governments will control the quality of raw materials from international suppliers. Violators will be fined. According to experts, the new import rules will hit the largest fuel suppliers, primarily Russia.
