The destruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric plant continues to be debated at a global level. Yesterday, Russia's crime was discussed in the European Parliament. The Minister of European Union Affairs of Sweden, Jessica Roswall states that such a tragedy would not have happened if Russia hadn’t started its war of aggression against Ukraine. She also mentioned that dealing with the consequences of the dam destruction will be a part of the European effort toward recovery and reconstruction of Ukraine. European leaders expressed support for Ukrainian people whose lives are in danger because of Russia’s senseless attack. And recognized their responsibility to ensure that Ukraine successfully becomes an EU member.
