Tragedy Strikes: Deadly Russian Attack on Ukrainian Village | The Gaze
A missile strike on a store and cafe building in the village of Hroza near Kupiansk killed more than fifty people, among them an 8-year-old child. Six people were injured of varying severity. All the dead and wounded are civilians, local residents. According to the Kharkiv region police, there were about 60 people in the cafe at the time of the attack; they were gathering for a memorial dinner on the occasion of the reburial of their fellow countryman. This is the bloodiest terrorist attack in the region since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine; three days of mourning for the victims have been declared in the region.
