Transforming Russian Planes into Keepsakes for Ukrainian Defense

At the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, a friend of Petro wrote that he was ready to donate his car for the needs of the country. Petro asked who needed a car, and it turned out that vehicles were in high demand on the front lines—they were a consumable resource.
So, together with his team, he began systematically raising funds and delivering entire caravans of pickups for the military. Since February 24th, the Nesemos! team has delivered over 160 vehicles. And new ones are constantly needed.
The Nesemos team wanted to accelerate fundraising, so they came up with the idea of turning downed Russian planes into souvenirs to thank donors. This led to the creation of the Nesemos signature store, which is now headed by Petro's colleague, Maria.
Among Nesemos' products are keychains, military dog tags, bracelets, bottle openers, and statuettes made from Russian helicopters and fighter jets. Each item is unique, featuring original colors, markings, components, and defects. They are 100% handmade by skilled craftsmen from Mariupol and the Luhansk region.
Nesemos donates 80% of its profits to purchasing vehicles for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The War-Born Art project is a series of videos that explore how the remnants of war—missile fragments, shell casings, and anti-tank weapon tubes—are transformed into unique works of art. These objects, crafted by Ukrainian artists and designers, symbolize the resilience and creativity of the Ukrainian people. In each video, you'll witness the process of creating these art pieces, hear the artists share their stories and motivations, and discover how instruments of destruction are turned into symbols of peace and renewal. This project stands as a testament to the power of creativity to inspire and unite, even in the darkest times.
