Ukraine's Accession to the EU: Is Europe Finally Ready for a Big Decision?

#thegaze Ukraine is ready to start negotiations on EU accession. According to the European Union ambassador to Ukraine, the process may start as early as at the end of June. The European Commission approved the negotiating framework at the beginning of spring, on March 12th 2024. In order to successfully conduct negotiations, Ukraine will have to fulfil a list of requirements, 90% of which, according to EU officials, are already done.
