Czech Model Krystyna Pyszková Wins Miss World 2024
The final of the Miss World 2024 beauty contest took place in Mumbai, India, with 111 contestants from various countries participating. The crown was awarded to 23-year-old model Krystyna Pyszková from the Czech Republic, as reported by CNN.
Following a series of competitions during the preliminary rounds, including fitness, beauty, talent, and public speaking, the number of contestants was reduced to 40. From there, 12 finalists were selected, then further narrowed down to eight, before the contestants engaged in a classic question-and-answer round, touching on topics discussed at the latest G20 summit.
After the final selection, four contestants remained to "present their purpose" (or charitable platform) before a panel of three business magnates from "Shark Tank India." Ultimately, Pyszková emerged victorious over three other finalists: Yasmina Zaytoun from Lebanon, Ache Abraham from Trinidad and Tobago, and Lesego Chombo from Botswana.
In addition to her modelling career, Krystyna Pyszková pursues two higher educations – in law and business. She has also founded her own foundation, the "Krystyna Pyszko Foundation," aimed at supporting education and sustainable development.
According to information on the contest's website, Krystyna Pyszková also opened an English school for children from underprivileged families in Tanzania, where she volunteered.
Pyszková is fluent in English, German, Slovak, and Polish. Additionally, she has a passion for music and art, playing the flute and violin, and has studied at the Academy of Arts for nine years.
