The Czechoslovak Group, together with company Ukrainian Armour, will produce 155 mm artillery ammunition.

This was reported by Czechoslovak Group.

This agreement was one of those signed by the companies on 2 October during the International Defence Industry Forum in Kyiv.

According to the agreement, the Czech company will provide the Ukrainian manufacturer with the necessary developments and assistance to launch the production of 155 mm artillery shells directly in Ukraine. Production will begin next year.

It is planned to produce 100,000 such shells in 2025, and in 2026, the volume should exceed 300,000. The production will take place in both countries to speed up production and reduce the price of shells.

Several types of large-calibre ammunition will be produced.

The location of the production will not be disclosed for security reasons.

Czechoslovak Group is an industrial and technological group owned by a Czech entrepreneur. The Group has key production facilities in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Spain, Italy, India, the United Kingdom and the United States and exports its products worldwide. In 2023, the group's consolidated sales reached €1.73 billion.

The industrial and technological group has been assisting Ukraine since 2018, supplying self-propelled howitzers and infantry fighting vehicles. After the invasion in 2022, the company also supplied tanks and air defence systems and joined the Czech initiative to purchase ammunition for Ukraine.
