Czechia, Ukraine Agree to Jointly Produce 155 mm Ammunition
The Czechoslovak Group, together with company Ukrainian Armour, will produce 155 mm artillery ammunition.
This was reported by Czechoslovak Group.
This agreement was one of those signed by the companies on 2 October during the International Defence Industry Forum in Kyiv.
According to the agreement, the Czech company will provide the Ukrainian manufacturer with the necessary developments and assistance to launch the production of 155 mm artillery shells directly in Ukraine. Production will begin next year.
It is planned to produce 100,000 such shells in 2025, and in 2026, the volume should exceed 300,000. The production will take place in both countries to speed up production and reduce the price of shells.
Several types of large-calibre ammunition will be produced.
The location of the production will not be disclosed for security reasons.
