Trump's Personal Spiritual Advisor Visits Bucha

Pastor Mark Burns, the personal spiritual advisor to U.S. President Donald Trump, visited the Ukrainian towns of Irpin, Bucha, and Borodianka in the Kyiv region—areas that suffered severe devastation during the Russian occupation exactly three years ago, in the spring of 2022. He was invited by the Chief Rabbi of Ukraine, Moshe Azman.
‘What he saw deeply affected him—he did not hide his pain, indignation, and sincere sympathy,’ commented the Chief Rabbi of Ukraine.
According to a co-organizer of the visit, who spoke to Ukrainian media, Mark Burns repeatedly emphasized that Trump’s support for Ukraine would remain steadfast. However, he also suggested that Ukraine should draw lessons from past dealings with certain American politicians who, in his view, have not been entirely honest.
On his Instagram, Pastor Burns stated: ‘The war in Ukraine is bigger than Democrats or Republicans, the Left or the Right. Whether you dislike President Trump or President Zelenskyy, real people are dying here.’
His visit comes on a significant day for Ukraine, as Bucha hosts the Bucha Summit, attended by the President of Ukraine, state leadership, and delegations from 17 European countries to mark the third anniversary of the city’s liberation from Russian occupation.
Mark Burns has been a staunch Trump supporter since the 2016 campaign and has accompanied him at rallies. This established him as a prominent voice among African American Christian leaders supporting Trump.
