Twelve Air Defence Positions Installed Around Putin's Residence
Twelve air defence positions, mainly equipped with Pantsir-S1 air defence systems on towers, have been installed around the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin in Valdai, Russia. This is evidenced by satellite images.

It is reported that Putin's alleged companion Alina Kabaeva and their children often spend time in Valdai.
In February 2023, it became known that a house had been specially built for Kabaeva next to Putin's residence in Valdai, for which a separate railway branch line had even been laid.
It is noted that Radio Liberty began collecting information about the towers with ‘Pantsir’ systems around Putin's Valdai residence at the end of 2024.
The 12 such towers around Putin's residence are only five times fewer than the number of air defence positions that Radio Liberty, with the help of OSINT analysts, has identified since 2022 in Moscow and the Moscow region, which has a population of over 20 million people.
