Ukraine Officially Showcased at International Book Festival in Hungary for the First Time
Ukraine was officially represented for the first time at the Budapest International Book Festival, which took place from 26 to 29 September in the Hungarian capital. The Ukrainian national stand was organised: The Ukrainian Cultural Association in Hungary, the Ukrainian Book Foundation UNABOOK and the Embassy of Ukraine in Hungary, with the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Book Institute joining the initiative.
Visitors to the stand had the opportunity to get acquainted with Ukrainian literature presented by Vivat, Ranok, Clio, the All-Ukrainian State Publishing House Karpaty and the NGO Gen. Ukrainian.
The festival was an important step in promoting Ukrainian culture and literature in the international arena, opening up new opportunities for cooperation and distribution of Ukrainian books in Europe.
