Zelenskyy: Norway to Boost Ukraine Drone Production Funding

Norway has agreed to Ukraine's request to allocate a larger share of funds for the production of Ukrainian drones from the funds allocated to support Ukraine this year, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said after a conversation with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.
The Gaze reports on this with reference to European Pravda.
Zelenskyy said that he spoke about the details of his conversation with US President Donald Trump and other European leaders on Monday, as well as about the meeting with Crown Prince Haakon, who visited Ukraine for the first time on 20 May, and the Norwegian Minister of Energy.
In addition, the conversation with the Prime Minister touched upon a number of issues of bilateral cooperation.
"I thanked him for the financial assistance provided by Norway - we will receive almost USD 8 billion this year. We talked about the possibility of increasing the share of this amount for the production of drones in Ukraine. Thank you for supporting this proposal," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
As The Gaze reported earlier, Norway will help equip the brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with modern weapons, armoured vehicles and other technological solutions.
Since April 2025, Norway has officially joined the "drone coalition" for Ukraine.
