Deadly Missile and Drone Terrorist Attack in Ukraine by Russian Forces: 4 Killed in Kyiv, 6 Injured in Zaporizhzhia
Four people were killed in another terrorist attack in Ukraine by the Russian army in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Timur Tkachenko said. Three more people were injured, the State Emergency Service added.
Over the past night, air raid alerts were sounded three times in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv. The city was attacked by four Russian missiles and dozens of drones. During the second alarm, the sounds of air defence were heard in the city.
Later, the city was put on air alert for the third time. The air force reported a ballistic missile threat. The wreckage of downed missiles was found in Shevchenkivskyi and Desnianskyi districts. The Lukyanivska metro station and water supply system, a residential building, an administrative building, a business centre, a shop, and cars were damaged.
Also, at six in the morning, explosions were heard in Zaporizhzhia. The head of the OVA, Ivan Fedorov, reported that the Russian army had attacked the city's infrastructure. Six people were injured. The administrative building of an industrial facility was partially destroyed, and houses were damaged.
The day before, rescue operations were underway in Kryvyi Rih after a Russian ballistic missile strike. Four people were killed in the attack. Fourteen others were injured.
‘These attacks and losses could have been prevented if we had the air defence systems that we have been discussing with our partners for a long time - systems that already exist in the world,’ President Zelenskyy reiterated yesterday.
