Apple Unveils iPhone 15 Pro on September 13

It's been almost a year since Apple announced the iPhone 14 lineup, and now we're hearing plenty of rumors about the iPhone 15. However, the exact date of Apple's new phone announcement remained uncertain until now. According to 9to5Mac, Apple will hold a special event on September 13, during which the new iPhone 15 and other exciting gadgets will be unveiled.
Sources indicate that mobile operators have requested their employees not to take leave on September 13 due to the "major smartphone presentation." Although it's not confirmed that this event is specifically related to Apple, the company typically announces new iPhones in September.
While most iPhone announcements have traditionally taken place on Tuesdays, last year's event occurred on September 7, which was a Wednesday. Since September 13 also falls on a Wednesday, it could be the date Apple chooses for the special event next month.
If the new smartphones are indeed announced on September 13, pre-orders could start on Friday, September 15, with the official release scheduled for September 22. Last year, pre-orders for the iPhone 14 began on September 9, and the store release took place on September 16, with full sales commencing on October 7 due to supply issues. A similar delay occurred in 2020, affecting the launch of the iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 mini. Some analysts predict that at least one of the iPhone 15 models may face delays this year, while others believe that all new models will be available in September, despite the "serious shortage."
Rumors suggest that the iPhone 15 will feature a new design with slightly curved edges and very thin bezels around the display. All models will incorporate Dynamic Island technology and will have a USB-C port instead of the standard Lightning.
Regarding the Pro versions, there are speculations that the stainless-steel frame might be replaced with titanium.
The iPhone 15 and 15 Plus will be powered by the previous year's A16 Bionic chip, while the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max will feature the A17 chip. Additionally, the Pro Max version will receive a periscope lens for improved optical zoom.
As for the prices, there is information suggesting that the new iPhone models may see an increase of around $200 compared to the current generation.
