Canada to Help Reform Ukraine's Pension System

Canada is considering helping to set up a new pension system for Ukraine similar to its own, Canadian Finance Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne has said.
The Gaze reports on this with reference to Reuters.
"We discussed how we can work together to implement best practices in building Ukraine's pension system," Champagne said.
According to him, Canadian representatives held meetings with large pension funds, including Fairfax, to discuss opportunities to participate in investment projects to rebuild Ukraine.
The G7 financiers are also expected to discuss attracting private investment to rebuild Ukraine, which is estimated to require more than $500 billion over the next decade.
As The Gaze reported earlier, Canada has pledged to maintain and potentially increase military assistance to Ukraine.
