Estonia Delivers Mistral Anti-Aircraft Missile Systems and Ammunition to Ukraine

Estonia has delivered Mistral short-range anti-aircraft missile systems and missiles to Ukraine. This was reported by the Estonian Ministry of Defence on X (Twitter).
Earlier in June, Estonian Defence Minister Hanno Pevkur announced the transfer of the Mistral systems to Ukraine.
"The Mistral short-range anti-aircraft missile systems and missiles have been delivered to Ukraine. Let us continue to support the fighters for freedom," reported the Estonian Ministry of Defence.
Developed in France, the Mistral is a modern anti-aircraft missile system designed to target helicopters and aircraft. It is available in a portable version (MANPADS) and can also be used on launch platforms for vehicles, ships, and helicopters.
This missile system has a range of up to 6 kilometres and is intended to protect against relatively low-flying aircraft and helicopters.
Previously, Estonia has supplied Ukraine with Javelin anti-tank missile systems, howitzers, artillery, anti-tank mines, anti-tank grenade launchers, mortars, vehicles, communication equipment, field hospitals, medical supplies, personal protective equipment, and rations.
In March, Estonia also announced a military aid package for Ukraine worth 20 million euros.
