German Foreign Minister Baerbock Accuses Putin of Preparing New 'Cold War' against Ukraine
German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock has accused Russian leader Vladimir Putin of preparing a new 'cold war' against Ukraine.

Baerbock recalled during consultations with her colleagues in Brussels that Russia has recently been deliberately attacking Ukraine's heat and water supply infrastructure.
‘In order to make sure that people freeze to death in the winter,’ she said.
According to the minister, Putin is seeking an even bigger Cold War than in previous years.
According to Baerbock, the EU's response should be a new protective shield for Ukraine.
She noted that Germany wants to deliver four more IRIS-T air defence systems and additional Gepard anti-aircraft guns by the end of the year.
Air defence ‘is still the most important thing to protect human lives on the ground in Ukraine,’ Baerbock said.
