Kellogg: US Gets Peace Deal Terms from Ukraine, Awaiting Russia's

US Special Envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg said that the US had received a list of conditions for ending the war from Kyiv, but had not yet received one from Moscow.
The Gaze reports on this with reference to Fox News.
According to Kellogg, when US President Donald Trump recently spoke with Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin, "the Russians said they were going to prepare a so-called memorandum".
"We got a list of terms of a peace deal from Kyiv, and we have to get them from Moscow," he said.
He noted that after the US receives the two documents, it will "combine them".
"After that, you take both documents and combine them. You put them together. And you ask the question: where can we find a common ground to bring everything together? And when we get their “urgent plan” or memorandum, then we'll put together a joint version, and we'll have another meeting," Kellogg explained.
Trump's special envoy noted that the US wanted the next round of talks between Ukraine and Russia to take place in the Vatican, but "Moscow rejected it".
As The Gaze reported earlier, trilateral talks between the delegations of Ukraine, the United States and Turkey took place in Istanbul on 16 May. On the same day, the delegations of Ukraine and Russia met with the participation of Turkey, which was the first direct talks between Kyiv and Moscow since 2022.
Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Heorhiy Tykhyi said that during the talks in Istanbul, the Russian side made statements unacceptable to Ukraine.
