Lithuania’s Blue/Yellow Raises €1 Million for Drones to Support Ukraine

The Lithuanian organization Blue/Yellow, dedicated to supporting Ukraine, raised €1 million as part of the Dronatonas campaign to purchase drones that will help Ukrainian soldiers on the front lines.
The Gaze reports on it, referring to LRT.
The campaign lasted two months and was organized on a marathon principle – “long, consistent, and with teamwork.”
Thousands of people, companies, and communities joined the initiative, purchasing personalized drones and holding various events in support of Ukraine.
The funds raised will be used to purchase drones for various purposes: FPV drones, reconnaissance, night, logistics, and long-range drones, as well as control systems and accessories.
According to the organization's director, Laura Paukšte, each drone not only increases the safety of Ukrainian soldiers but also guarantees the safety of Lithuania and Europe.
“A strong Ukraine means a more secure Lithuania and Europe. Our mission is to help Ukrainians fight the aggressor, but at the same time we are investing in Lithuania's security — the longer Ukraine holds out, the fewer real threats we will face,” she said.
The Blue/Yellow organization was founded in Lithuania in 2014 with the aim of supporting Ukraine in the humanitarian and defense spheres after the start of Russian aggression.
It is involved in coordinating fundraising, purchasing equipment and technology, providing logistical support for the delivery of aid to Ukraine, and organizing charity campaigns and information initiatives.
Since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, Blue/Yellow has actively supported Ukraine by purchasing over 5,000 drones and accessories.
In total, since its founding, Lithuanians have donated over €100 million to Ukraine through the organization, helping the country defend itself against the aggressor and strengthen its defense capabilities.
As The Gaze informed earlier, a Russian drone strike during a large-scale overnight attack on July 31 destroyed a humanitarian aid warehouse operated by the Lithuanian organization Blue/Yellow in Kyiv.
