Russian Drone Strike Destroys Lithuanian Aid Facility in Kyiv

A Russian drone strike during a large-scale overnight attack on July 31 has destroyed a humanitarian aid warehouse operated by the Lithuanian organization Blue/Yellow in Kyiv.
The Gaze reports this, referring to Lithuania’s national broadcaster LRT.
The facility, used to temporarily store protective gear and humanitarian supplies before dispatch to frontline areas, was completely demolished. Nearby buildings also suffered extensive damage from the blast.
At the time of the strike, the warehouse was nearly empty, containing mainly helmets and bulletproof vests designated for medical workers and staff.
No casualties were reported, and the organization confirmed it did not suffer critical material losses.
“In Ukraine, no one is safe from such attacks. This is the daily reality of war. The most important thing is that no people were harmed. The foundation did not suffer serious losses, so our work continues, we will keep raising funds and sending aid to Ukraine’s defenders,” said Blue/Yellow director Laura Paukšte.
Just a week prior, another Russian attack hit the field base of Norwegian People's Aid in Mykolaiv – a group engaged in demining operations across Ukraine.
Humanitarian organizations remain critical to Ukraine’s wartime resilience, yet face mounting operational risks as Russia continues to target both civilian and support infrastructure.
