Netherlands to Provide Ukraine With Additional €22 Million for Air Defence and Cyber Resilience
The Netherlands has announced its intention to provide Ukraine with an additional €22 million for initiatives related to the development of cyber resilience and air defence. Dutch Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp wrote about this on the social network X.
During the meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Brussels, Veldkamp called for continuing the course of support for Ukraine, given the strengthening of the Russian military machine, which receives assistance from third countries.
He also stressed the importance of strengthening Ukraine's military capabilities.
‘The Netherlands is allocating an additional €22 million for projects through NATO aimed at air defence and cyber resilience in Ukraine,’ the Dutch Foreign Minister said.
Earlier, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said that Ukraine's request for a significant number of air defence systems to protect nuclear and other critical infrastructure was positively received by partners in the Alliance.
Earlier, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha revealed the details of Ukraine's new request for air defence systems: they are to be installed at 19 sites to protect nuclear and other energy facilities.
