Norway Protects Polish Airspace: Sends NASAMS Systems, F-35 Fighters, and 100 Soldiers
Norway is protecting the airspace above the airport in Rzeszów, Poland, NATO reports on social media.
The Alliance explained that the airport is a crucial hub for transporting both civilian and military cargo from other countries to Ukraine.
‘By sending 100 soldiers, NASAMS air defence systems and F-35 fighter jets to Poland, Norway is contributing to ensuring that aid to Ukraine reaches its destination, allowing Ukraine to continue its fight for freedom,’ the statement said.
