Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has announced that he is heading to the border with Belarus to the scene of a clash between Polish border guards and dozens of aggressive illegal migrants from Russia's ally. The Poles will also send reinforcements to the border.
Earlier, it became known that a Polish border guard was injured by a knife stabbed by a foreigner who tried to break through the barrier on the border with Belarus. It happened in the area of the border outpost in the village of Dubichi Tserkovni.

In total, a group of about 50 foreigners from Belarus threw branches and stones at Polish patrols. During the migrants' attempt to cross the border by force, one of them stabbed a Polish soldier.
The wounded Pole was given first aid. At this time, the illegal aliens continued to behave aggressively and attacked the wounded man and the officer who provided assistance. The serviceman was taken to hospital.
Shortly before this incident, a border guard was hit with a broken bottle as a result of an attack by illegal migrants in Bialowieża. The wounded man was also taken to hospital. In addition, in Dubychi Cherkeski, during an attempt by a group of nine foreigners to illegally cross the border, one of them wounded a border guard in the arm with a stick with a knife attached to it. The border guard was treated in hospital.
Almost every day, Polish border guards face aggression from illegal migrants trying to cross the Polish-Belarusian border. In recent months, attacks by foreigners on the services guarding the Polish-Belarusian border have become more frequent, and four border guards have been injured. Migrants throw stones, branches, bottles, carry dangerous weapons with knives, and shoot from slingshots. Official vehicles were also damaged, including broken windows and a destroyed body.
