‘The Chinese and Russian navies will hold joint exercises “Maritime Interaction-2025” in the sea and airspace near Vladivostok in August,’ Zhang said.
According to him, after the exercises, some of the forces involved from both sides will carry out the sixth joint maritime patrol in designated areas of the Pacific Ocean.
‘All of the above-mentioned activities are carried out in accordance with the annual cooperation plan between the armed forces of China and the Russian Federation, are not directed against any third party, and have nothing to do with the current international and regional situation,’ the spokesperson for the Chinese Defence Ministry emphasised.
