On Wednesday, March 20, Russia launched another missile strike on Kharkiv. An X-35 missile hit a printing house in the Kholodnohirskyi district of the city, causing a massive fire. As a result of this terrorist attack, 5 people died, 9 were injured, and 5 are reported missing, according to Ukrinform.
"In addition to the five dead, we also have the same number missing. Their identities are known, but they are neither among the injured nor among the dead. There are currently nine injured. The fire has been almost extinguished, with only smouldering remains in the affected building. The search and rescue operation is ongoing," said the city's mayor, Igor Terekhov.
President Volodymyr Zelensky, in an evening address, reminded that Kharkiv and the region have been enduring terrible Russian strikes for over two years. The occupiers destroyed Saltykova and damaged other areas of the region, as well as destroying other villages in the Kharkiv region.
"Today marks another Russian strike on Kharkiv, which will not affect anything except Ukraine's more principled and precise responses. Five people died in Kharkiv today due to a Russian missile. My condolences to all their families and loved ones," he said.
It's worth noting that on the night of March 21, Russia also conducted a massive missile barrage on Ukraine's capital, Kyiv. As a result of this missile attack in Kyiv, 12 people were injured, including one child, according to the Kyiv city military administration. It is reported that the anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and mobile fire groups of the Defence Forces of Ukraine destroyed two ballistic and 29 cruise Russian missiles launched at the Ukrainian capital.
