Syrskyi: Ukraine Repels 74% of Incoming Russian Strikes

Ukrainian air defenses repel about 74% of attacks, but the number of enemy air strikes has increased, confirming the need for additional means of defense.
The Gaze reports on it, referring to a message from Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi on Telegram.
Syrskyi said that although Ukrainian air defense is quite effective in repelling massive Russian attacks on Ukrainian civilian and energy infrastructure, the enemy is increasingly intensifying its aggression.
"New challenges await us ahead. In one month, the enemy has increased the number of air attacks by 1.3 times," he wrote, emphasizing the need to make additional efforts to protect rear energy facilities, critical infrastructure, and logistics.
At the same time, the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Army noted that the enemy is paying a heavy price for continuing its aggression.
“Last month, the number of strikes on Russian territory reached 70. We are destroying the production of fuels and lubricants, explosives, and other components of the Russian military-industrial complex in the aggressor country,” Syrsky added, praising the successes in the implementation of the DeepStrike program.
As a result of these actions by the Ukrainian army, oil processing in Russia has decreased by approximately 21%.
He also noted the intensification of the creation of a new type of troops — unmanned air defense systems as part of the Air Force, the improvement of the assault unit system, and the formation of the Cyber Forces command.
"I have defined the tasks for October. We must stand firm and preserve Ukraine, its freedom, and independence. To this end, the Armed Forces are working 24/7,” concluded the Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine.
As The Gaze informed earlier, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Oleksandr Syrskyi reported that in September, Ukrainian unmanned aerial systems (UAS) struck 66,5 thousand enemy targets.
