Trump Can Finish Russia's War Against Ukraine by Year-End, Says Yermak

US President Donald Trump could finish the war that Russia started against Ukraine by the end of this year. That's if he puts in place new, serious sanctions against anyone buying Russian oil and gas, said Andriy Yermak, head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
The Gaze reports on it, referring to The Times podcast.
According to Yermak, only economic problems can influence Putin. They will force him to think about the high price of war.
"These new sanctions by the United States are so important because, unfortunately, all this year, the price of oil has allowed him to finance his military machine. They will put a lot of pressure on Putin, and he will lose a huge amount of money. And the countries that buy Russian oil will also put pressure on him," said the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
As The Gaze reported earlier, Trump gave Putin 50 days to cease fire against Ukraine. In case of refusal, he threatened at least 100% tariffs on countries that buy energy resources from Russia, noting that he had been waiting for a peace agreement from the Kremlin dictator two months ago.
