Ukraine is close to finalizing a basic framework on long-term security guarantees, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Saturday, as top Western advisers met in Kyiv to coordinate military, financial, and political backing for the war-torn country.

The Gaze reports this, referring to Zelenskyy’s evening address.

Ukrainian President said the draft document was “practically ready” and now undergoing final adjustments with Ukraine’s partners.

He stressed that collective action – from Europe, the United States, and other global powers – was essential to pressure Russia into halting its attacks.

“This is possible only if we act all together,” he said, urging that frozen Russian assets be directed toward Ukraine’s defense and reconstruction.

He added that Ukraine’s military “deep strikes” would intensify, while diplomats continue working to reduce global trade links with Moscow.

Earlier in the day, Andrii Yermak, Head of the Presidential Office, held talks in Kyiv with national security advisers from Britain, France, Germany, and Italy.

He said the visit was part of implementing commitments made in Paris under the so-called “Coalition of the Willing.”

“The process is continuous — but a physical visit to Ukraine allows partners to see the real situation with their own eyes,” Yermak said, calling the talks a demonstration of solidarity.

He emphasized that Russia would not stop the war on its own and must be contained through credible, collective guarantees.

The advisers, along with Yermak, also traveled to Ukraine’s northeastern Kharkiv region – a gesture Zelenskyy described as significant, showing support beyond the capital.

The president noted that in recent days he had also held discussions with the leaders of Finland, Britain, Italy, and Poland, as well as NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and U.S. special envoy Keith Kellogg.

As The Gaze reported earlier, during the annual Yalta European Strategy meeting, Zelenskyy called on the US and Europe to exert strong joint pressure on Russia, stressing that only a powerful multi-component air defense system and consolidated support from the West will force the aggressor to end the war in Ukraine.
