Two Ukrainian Films to Screen at Portugal Festival
The films Forever-Forever by director Anna Buryachkova and La Palisiada by director Philip Sotnychenko will be screened at the Promin Festival in Lisbon, Portugal.
The Gaze writes about it, referring to the press service of the Ukrainian State Film Agency.
The festival will take place from 25 to 27 July at the Cinema São Jorge.
Forever-Forever will be screened on the opening day of the festival.
La Palisiada is scheduled to be screened on 26 July.
Promin Festival is a dialogue between Ukraine and the world through the language of art. Its programme includes cinema, art, discussions and lectures that will introduce viewers to the bright voices of Ukraine today.
The festival is organised by Shcherbenko Art Centre, Cinema São Jorge, the Ukrainian Embassy in Portugal, PR Army, Tabor and other partners.
As The Gaze reported earlier, the film by Ukrainian director Pavlo Ostrikov, U Are the Universe, won two awards at the Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival (NIFFF) in Switzerland.
