Ukraine Achieves Record Global Participation at UN General Assembly, Says Zelenskyy

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy summarized the findings of Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha’s report on Ukraine’s activities at the UN General Assembly, emphasizing record international participation and progress on defense, support, and diplomatic initiatives.
The Gaze reports on it, referring to a post made by Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Telegram.
“A record level of participation by leaders and representatives of states and international organizations was achieved in events organized by Ukraine or related to issues important to Ukraine,” Zelenskyy wrote.
In particular, there was a special meeting of the UN Security Council, the Crimean Platform summit, and the summit of the Coalition for the return of Ukrainian children abducted by Russia. In total, more than 40 different meetings were held at the level of ministers and government teams, as well as representatives of the Office of the President and the National Security and Defense Council.
“I have instructed that all agreements on support packages for Ukraine be implemented as soon as possible. We will also implement the agreements reached at the meeting with President Trump and his team as quickly as possible,” the President said, once again emphasizing the productivity of the meeting.
He also announced the expansion of the PURL program with the support of European partners, which is already increasing the capabilities of the Ukrainian army.
In addition, Zelenskyy reported positive signals regarding the use of frozen Russian assets for the restoration of Ukraine and the development of its defense industry.
Moreover, agreements on the controlled export of Ukrainian weapons and the opening of export platforms in cooperation with four countries were reached.
“We appreciate that all continents were represented at the meetings and negotiations that are important for Ukraine, and there is a truly global understanding that Russia remains the only obstacle to ending the war, and therefore pressure on Russia is needed. There will be new pressure on Russia,” the President concluded.
At the same time, during Saturday's briefing, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine has already deployed a strong system for the production of interceptor drones, and there are many Ukrainian companies that understand how to do this, but there is not enough funding.
“That is, today there are not enough forces to take the appropriate steps,” he noted.
The President of Ukraine also reported that on September 10, 92 Russian drones flew to Poland, Ukraine shot them down over its territory, but 19 of them reached Polish territory.
