Ukraine Has Received $133 Billion in Partner Aid Over Three Years

Over the past three years, Ukraine has received more than $133 billion in financial assistance from international partners, Ukrainian Finance Minister Sergii Marchenko said during a meeting with Canadian Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne and German Vice Chancellor and Finance Minister Lars Klingbeil.
The Gaze reports on this with reference to the press service of the Ukrainian ministry.
Marchenko noted that Canada and Germany have been among the leaders in supporting Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war in all possible ways.
According to him, Germany's aid is the second largest among the countries of the world and has reached 17.3 billion euros; Canada's aid is the fifth largest in the world and amounts to 10.3 billion euros.
Canada and Germany also supported the G7 ERA initiative (assistance to Ukraine through interest on frozen Russian assets) worth $50 billion. In particular, Canada's contribution is CAD 5 billion (about USD 3.4 billion). Ukraine received the first tranche of CAD 2.5 billion. The EU's contribution is €18.1 billion (about $20 billion). Ukraine has already received four tranches totalling €6 billion.
As The Gaze reported earlier, the European Union is planning a defence initiative for Ukraine, which provides for additional military assistance worth €40 billion.
