Ukraine Recovery Conference to See Major Investment Agreements Signed

A number of investment deals and agreements with financial institutions will be signed during the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2025) in Rome, Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, Olha Stefanishyna, announced during a televised interview, The Gaze reports, citing Ukrinform.
According to Stefanishyna, this year’s conference will focus heavily on investment-related matters within the broader framework of Ukraine’s European integration.
“First and foremost, this is about the investment and economic dimension, which is impossible without European integration,” she said. “The primary source of financial support comes from EU countries. This includes the Ukraine Facility, which encompasses both investment and macro-financial portfolios.”
She noted that the Ukrainian delegation will be led by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yuliia Svyrydenko.
“All dimensions are interconnected — the Minister of Economy, myself, and the Minister for Restoration. We will all be present in Rome. These three areas are equally important for Ukraine’s recovery and economic resilience,” Stefanishyna said.
She added that on the sidelines of the conference, a substantial number of investment contracts, project agreements, and new deals with financial institutions are already scheduled for signing.
“Usually, such conferences are about declaring intentions. But we’ve changed the format this time. Virtually the entire Italian business sector is involved,” Stefanishyna said.
“Ukrainian companies and regions will also be represented. This is a crucial element of our bilateral relations. And it is important that we are now able to focus not only on ending the war, but also on reforms and how the country continues to function during wartime — including its recovery needs.”
The Ukraine Recovery Conference 2025 will take place in Rome on July 11–12.
