Ukraine Returns 11 More Children Taken by Russia

Ukraine has managed to return 11 more children aged 10 to 17 who were captured in the temporarily occupied territories and the Russian Federation.
The Gaze reports on this referring to the post of the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak in Telegram.
“Within the framework of the initiative of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Bring Kids Back UA, 11 Ukrainian children were returned from the temporarily occupied territories and the Russian Federation,” Yermak stated.
According to Yermak, the story that left the strongest impression was about a family reunited after five siblings were safely returned home. After being forcibly transferred to Russia, contact with them disappeared for a while. It was only over time that the children themselves were able to get in touch with their adult sister in Ukraine and asked to be taken home.
The return became possible only after more than a year of hard work, as the Russian guardianship authorities exerted pressure, delayed the process and tried to force the children to refuse to return.
"This story is another reminder: Ukraine does not stop until its children are at home," wrote the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
He thanked the State of Qatar for mediation and the team of the Office of the Ukraine’s Human Rights Commissioner for their coordinated work and emphasized: “We are fulfilling the President's task to return everyone.”
As The Gaze previously reported, on May 26, thanks to Qatar’s active support, 68 Ukrainian children who had been deported by Russia have been successfully returned home.
