Ukraine, Romania, Moldova Move Toward Formation of Cybersecurity Partnership

On July 30, consultations were held on the creation of a cyber alliance between Ukraine, Romania, and Moldova to jointly counter cyber and hybrid threats, exchange information, develop AI solutions, and protect critical infrastructure.
The Gaze reports on it, referring to the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
The alliance's guiding principles provide for a joint response to cyberattacks that threaten the security of members and openness to the accession of new countries with similar democratic values and strategic priorities.
"The Alliance will become a platform that will strengthen the collective cybersecurity of the participating countries and develop effective mechanisms to counter these threats," said Natalia Tkachuk, Secretary of the National Cyber Security Coordination Center (NCSCC).
The Chernivtsi Regional Military Administration has initiated the creation of a regional cybersecurity center to support the development of the alliance.
According to Ruslan Zaparaniuk, head of the Regional Military Administration, the formation of a partnership will help strengthen cybersecurity both regionally and internationally. It would also contribute to the concentration of expertise and stimulate the strategic development of the region.
As The Gaze informed earlier, Moldovan President Maia Sandu said that Russia is preparing unprecedented interference in the parliamentary elections scheduled for September.
