Ukraine to Receive Long-Range ATACMS Missiles from the US

Ukraine and the United States have agreed to supply long-range ATACMS missiles. This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his evening video address following the 789th day of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.
He emphasised that Ukraine has four priorities: defence of the sky, modern artillery, long-range capability and rapid delivery of US support. According to the President, all the dots are now dotted in the agreements on ATACMS ballistic missiles for Ukraine.
"We are working with our American partners to increase our capabilities. There are four key priorities: protection of the sky, modern artillery, long-range capability and the delivery of US support packages as soon as possible. And today's result is that all the dots have been dotted in the agreement on the ATACMS for Ukraine. Thank you, Mr President! Thank you, Congress! Thank you, America!" Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
He stressed that Ukrainian cities and communities need protection and Patriot. In addition, as the Head of State noted, it is very important that Ukraine and the United States have started working on a bilateral security agreement.
"We can make our agreement truly exemplary and bring not only more security to our peoples, but also help the entire European history to move in the right direction and only peacefully," the President of Ukraine stressed.
The President of Ukraine held a meeting with the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. In particular, he listened to reports on the work of the Ukrainian defence industry and long-term contracts that are already in place and require special attention.
"Especially as we have a positive movement in terms of American assistance and are working to ensure that the Ukrainian potential is supported by the kind of weapons that our soldiers need. It is necessary not only to withstand, but also to act for the sake of Ukrainian goals, actively - to protect people," the President concluded.
As a reminder, the UK will soon provide Ukraine with the largest ever military aid package, including long-range weapons worth £500 million.
