Ukrainian Karate Fighters Win Team Standings at Prestigious Tournament in Poland

At the prestigious Polish Open 2024 competition in the city of Bielsko-Biała, athletes from Ukrainian clubs won 122 awards (39 gold, 32 silver and 51 bronze) and topped the team standings among 32 participating countries.
This was reported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine on Facebook.
Slovakia, which is on the second place in the ranking, won half as many awards - 61. The tournament hosts, Polish karateka, took third place with 57 medals.
Six Ukrainian teams made it to the top ten clubs of the tournament. The Kyiv-based Champion club took second place, losing only one bronze medal to SSK Bratislava from Slovakia. Ukrainian club 'Leader' from Chernivtsi is in third place.
