World Has Capability to Intercept Every Terrorist Missile: Russia Fires 34 Missiles at Ukraine Overnight
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the world has every opportunity to help shoot down every missile and drone of Russian terrorists.
"Thirty-four Russian missiles overnight. Some of them were shot down. But the world has every opportunity to help shoot down every missile and every drone of Russian terrorists. This is absolutely real. And the only thing that is needed is the necessary political decisions and agreements to become a reality," Zelenskyy said.
According to him, these include air defence systems for Ukraine, sufficient quantity and quality of weapons for the frontline, as well as prompt delivery and decisive action.
"Terror must always lose, and everyone who helps us resist Russian terror is a true defender of life," Zelenskyy stressed.
He stressed that Ukraine is grateful to the United States and each of its partners for their decisions to support the state and its people.
"We must do everything to ensure that life wins," the President of Ukraine added.
As a reminder, during the 21st meeting of the Ramstein Contact Group on Ukraine's Defence on 26 April, US Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin announced a new $1 billion military aid package for Ukraine.
Earlier, US President Joe Biden signed a package of laws allocating almost $61 billion in military and economic aid to Ukraine, as well as support for other US allies.
