Zelenskyy: Trump Approves Ukraine Strikes on Key Russian Infrastructure

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the US is providing Ukraine with the opportunity to use a new long-range weapons system, and with Trump's support, this could force Russia to sit down at the negotiating table.
The Gaze reports on it, referring to Axios.
In an interview, Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine is ready to respond decisively to Russian aggression, and Kremlin officials should know the location of bomb shelters, as they will need protection if the war continues.
"They have to know that we in Ukraine, each day, we will answer. If they attack us, we will answer them," noted the Ukrainian President.
Zelenskyy also said that during his meeting with Donald Trump, they discussed providing Ukraine with a new long-range weapons system.
The US President supported the idea that Ukraine could strike Russian strategic targets, such as energy infrastructure and military factories, in response to Russian attacks.
"If they attack our energy, President Trump supports that we can answer on energy," Zelenskyy said.
He also noted that Ukraine already has drones capable of operating deep inside Russia, but acquiring a new weapons system will increase pressure on the Kremlin and hasten the end of the war.
Zelenskyy emphasized that the use of such weapons is not the main goal, but rather a tool to force Putin to negotiate.
As The Gaze informed earlier, the Ukrainian President spoke at the UN General Assembly general debate and emphasized the power of Ukrainian drones and the need to build a new global security system due to the threat of Russia expanding the war.
