Child Killed, Over 30 Injured in Another Russian Terrorist Airstrike on Residential Building in Kharkiv, Ukraine
A child was killed, and 30 people were wounded in a terrorist air strike by Russia on a multi-storey building in Kharkiv, Ukraine.
This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the morning.
‘Russia has hit a nine-storey building in Kharkiv with a guided aerial bomb. Unfortunately, there are victims, including children. There may be more people under the rubble. All the necessary services are in place. Our partners see what is happening every day. And in these circumstances, every decision they delay means at least dozens or even hundreds of such Russian bombs against Ukraine. Their decisions mean the lives of our people. Therefore, together we must stop Russia and do it with all possible force,’ Zelenskyy said.
The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, clarified that a child was killed, Ukrinform reports.
‘Unfortunately, one child died. Despite their efforts, doctors failed to resuscitate the boy,’ he wrote.
The head of the JFO said that the boy killed by Russia was 11 years old. He was unblocked from the rubble with severe head injuries and fractures.
‘The medics performed resuscitation for more than half an hour. Unfortunately, they failed to save the child,’ Sinegubov said.
As reported, Russian troops attacked Kharkiv with a guided aerial bomb. The hit almost completely destroyed the entrance of a 9-storey residential building.
