Control Over the Use of Western Weapons in Ukraine Continues: Another Lie of Russian Propaganda Exposed
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has already refuted the fake news spread by Russian propaganda about 'Ukrainian weapons in the hands of Hamas terrorists' and warned that in the future, Moscow plans to accuse Kyiv of allegedly regularly selling Western weapons to terrorists, as reported by Freedom.
However, Russian media outlets continue to actively disseminate videos claiming that Western weapons for Ukraine have supposedly ended up in the hands of Palestinian militants who attacked Israel.
Experts note that, unlike Kyiv, the Kremlin finds it highly advantageous to present this narrative.
Amid the increase in diversity and quantity of equipment being supplied to Ukraine, Russia is using all possible means to stop these deliveries, including various forms of propaganda.
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine was well aware of Russia's information provocation in advance. According to the agency, Russia's Main Intelligence Directorate (GRU) has already delivered weapons, produced in the United States and European Union, to Hamas militants, seized during military operations in Ukraine.
Now, fake accusations of Ukrainian military involvement in 'illegal arms trade with Western weapons for terrorists on a regular basis' are expected to form the basis for a series of 'exposing publications' and 'investigations' in Western media.
"As part of the Kremlin's disinformation campaign, these fakes are intended to serve as the basis for a series of 'exposing publications' and 'investigations' in Western media. To make it convincing, Russian special services intend to use relevant comments from a defector from the Ukrainian State Border Guard Service, Senior Lieutenant Ruslan Syrovyi, who recently fled to Moscow," the statement from the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine on Facebook said.
It's worth noting that President Biden, in his address to the American people, drew a parallel between the recent events in Israel and the war in Ukraine, urging citizens to support Washington's assistance to both nations.
Earlier, on the final day of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Denmark, Ukrainian President Zelensky stated that Hamas and Russia employ similar terrorist tactics.
In turn, the Israel Defence Forces exposed the falsehood of Hamas terrorists regarding a rocket explosion near a hospital in Gaza, where hundreds of people were killed and injured, and for which the terrorists blamed Israel. Western media picked up this accusation without any evidence.
