Following a thorough investigation, the Israeli Defence Forces have presented new evidence that the deadly explosion in a Gaza hospital car park last night was caused by a misfired rocket launched by Hamas terrorists, rather than an Israeli airstrike, as reported by The Times of Israel.

The military has provided intercepted communications between Hamas representatives, revealing that the blast was triggered by a projectile from the Palestinian Islamic Jihad that failed to hit its intended target. Furthermore, Israeli forces demonstrated that there was no crater at the scene and no structural damage to neighbouring buildings that would typically result from an Israeli airstrike.

While on an official support visit to Tel Aviv, U.S. President Biden, after reviewing this evidence, also shifted blame for the hospital explosion to the "other side." He supported Israel's assertion that the fatal blast the previous evening was the result of a misfired rocket by Palestinian Hamas terrorists.

"From what I've seen, it seems another team did this, not you," he remarked.

Subsequently, the Israeli Defence Forces accused the global media of aiding Hamas in disseminating "falsehoods" about this tragic incident.

Initially, media outlets reported that the explosion, which, according to Hamas health officials, caused hundreds of casualties, occurred inside the Al-Ahli Hospital itself. However, images taken on Wednesday morning showed that it happened in the hospital's parking area, with no damage to surrounding structures.

Hamas-run Gaza's Health Ministry initially claimed at least 500 deaths, but later revised the figure to 200–300 people, as reported by AFP.

Hamas, the militant group in control, labelled the explosion an Israeli "war crime," and the World Health Organization promptly expressed condemnation.

Initially, the Israeli military stated that it had not been active in the area during the explosion, and that "an analysis of IDF operational systems indicates that it was, in fact, Palestinian terrorists in Gaza who fired a barrage of rockets that passed near the Ahli Hospital in Gaza at the time of the explosion.

Hamas terrorists quickly grasped this and expedited efforts to spread the narrative of "Israeli culpability."

The Al-Ahli Hospital explosion occurred at 18:59 on Tuesday, shortly after rocket alert sirens sounded in southern and central Israel.

As previously reported by The Gaze, world leaders strongly condemned the attack on the Al-Ahli hospital, demanding accountability for those responsible for the mass killing of civilians.
