Czech President Visits Ukrainian City of Odesa Amid Massive Russian Drone Attack

During Czech President Petr Pavel's visit to Odesa, Russian troops massively attacked the Ukrainian city with drones, Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction Oleksiy Kuleba said on Facebook.
He told that during his meeting with Pavel, the Russian forces launched three groups of attack drones at the city.
The Ukrainian minister said that during the meeting, they discussed key issues related to the safety of navigation, the restoration of Ukraine and the development of communities.
Kuleba stressed that the main topic of conversation was maritime security and problems related to mine clearance, as Russia has launched more than 450 missile strikes on Ukraine's port infrastructure since the summer of 2023.
They also discussed the issue of effective recovery and sustainable development of the country.
The Ukrainian minister invited the Czech president to take part in the Conference on the Reconstruction of Ukraine to be held this summer in Rome.
On the evening of 20 March, Russian troops attacked Odesa with drones. Explosions were heard in the city, large-scale fires broke out, and three people were injured, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
As The Gaze reported, the Czech Republic, along with the United States and the United Kingdom, has become one of the leading suppliers of ammunition to Ukraine.
