The Czech government has added the CEO of the Russian corporation "Tactical Missile Armament" (KTRV), Boris Obnosov, along with his associated beneficiaries – his daughter and son-in-law, to the national sanctions list.

This was reported by the official page of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.

The sanctions entail freezing assets and a ban on entry into the Czech territory.

The rockets, weaponry, and technology manufactured by KTRV under Obnosov's leadership are widely used for shelling Ukraine, including civilian and critical infrastructure.

"The Russian oligarch behind the production of rockets that kill innocent Ukrainians must be held accountable, just like those who enjoy luxury in the Czech Republic with money from trading in death," wrote Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs Jan Lipavský on his Twitter.

In addition to Obnosov, the sanctions also apply to his daughter Olga Zorikova and her husband Rostislav. According to the Czech government, the couple benefits personally from their ties with the Russian rocket manufacturer.

Olga is directly connected to her father's company, owning 20% of the assets of the Russian corporation "Tactical Missile Armament," while Rostislav Zorikov, residing in the Czech Republic since at least 2020, owns elite real estate worth over 100 million Czech crowns.

Recall that Switzerland recently decided to join the 11th sanctions package of the European Union, which came into effect on June 23, 2023, aimed at banning the export of dual-use goods or those that contribute to "Russia's military-technical reinforcement." Accordingly, Switzerland updated its sanctions list, freezing the assets of 71 individuals and 33 Russian companies.

Also, recently, UK Foreign Minister James Cleverly announced new sanctions against individuals and legal entities from Turkey, Dubai, Slovakia, and Switzerland supporting Russia's war in Ukraine.

"Those who support the Russian war machine will have nowhere to hide," Cleverly emphasized.

The sanctions list also includes Russian companies that still have the opportunity to import electronic equipment for Russian occupation forces, as well as a military equipment manufacturer from Belarus that supplies weapons to Alexander Lukashenko's regime.
