During Sixth Visit, Czech FM Stresses Importance of Ukraine’s Reform Progress

During his sixth visit to Ukraine, Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský warned Kyiv against slowing down reforms, stressing that support for the country is not unlimited.
The Gaze reports on it, referring to Minister Lipavský's column in European Pravda.
The Minister emphasized that Ukraine has been resisting Russia's brutal aggression for four years now, which has led to thousands of civilian and military casualties, as well as war crimes, including the abduction of children.
He stressed that this war concerns not only Ukraine but all of Europe, as Ukrainians are defending European values and the world order. “Putin's Russia wants to ‘re-educate’ Ukrainians into Russians and turn Ukraine into a Russian province and satellite, in order to then destroy all of Western civilization,” Lipavský wrote.
Czech Foreign Minister also stressed that Ukraine's future is linked to integration into the EU and NATO, which will ensure the country's security and prosperity.
“Ukraine has our strong support in this, although it is not unlimited,” he added.
Lipavský stated that Ukraine should not slow down reforms, especially in the areas of the rule of law and the fight against corruption, as these are key elements of its path to Europe. He emphasized that there would be no deviation from these requirements.
It is reported that the coming weeks will be important for the development of Czech-Ukrainian relations, particularly in the economic sphere, with a focus on Ukraine's industrial center, Dnipro. At the same time, Jan Lipavský noted that all Ukrainian cities, and in the future Donetsk, Luhansk, Mariupol, and Crimea, are part of Europe.
As The Gaze reported earlier, the Czech civic initiative "A Gift for Putin" raised 60 million CZK (2.4 million euros) to purchase six howitzers for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
